Clinical Trial – Phase I
In this phase, the safety of the new drug is verified, involving people for the first time. Side effects, tolerance, method of administration, and safe dosing are evaluated, among other things, based on their actions in the human body.
Clinical Trial – Phase IIA
Phase IIA is used for pilot studies designed to demonstrate clinical efficacy or biological activity.
This phase helps us verify the safety level of our drug, find the optimal treatment dose, and establish preliminary data on its efficacy.
Clinical Trial – Phase IIB
Thanks to Phase IIB, we are able to verify the treatment’s efficacy considering a larger amount of data, thus achieving a higher level of safety.
Clinical Trial – Phase III
In Phase III, safety and efficacy data are verified in a larger sample size. With positive results, regulatory authorities may approve its commercialization.
